[Forminator Pro] Filter Functionality to Show or Hide Forms to Bots

0

Hello,

There should be a filter functionality in the form settings that is able to either show or hide forms for bots. This would improve the quality of the statistics enormously. I have a form that the views are mostly from bots and this is not good for statistics.

    I tried to edit the ticket, as it is actually not quite correct how it was written. But the edit does not show up, so I try to clarify here:
    What I want it a way to filter out bot visits from the submission statistics, as not showing the form to bots is probably not possible.
    I have a form with more than 1200 visits and I know that only about 60 to 70 real persons have visited the page. The rest are a view visits from myself when building and tweaking the form (certainly not near 1000 visits) and I assume bot visits.
    There are public lists of known bots (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:List_of_bots_by_number_of_edits and others) so it would be possible to filter out quite a few of the well known and well behaving bots that send their name as http user agent. It is probably not possible to filter all bots but it would improve the quality of the statistics enormously!
    So my actual feature request would be:
    Have a way to filter own activity (e.g. do not count anyone logged in as admin or author or whatever role I want to filter out) and second and most important: have a way to filter out bot visits from the statistics as they are more or less useless otherwise.

    Hi mbitcon ,

    Please confirm if the feature request can be summarized as follows;

    1- Excluding the form views/activity of certain roles (admin, author etc.) from the statistics.
    2- Excluding bot visits from the form views count. Suggesting the implementation of known bot lists or other effective bot identification measures.
    3- Requesting for a more detailed and refined presentation of statistics, including the ability to differentiate between human and bot interactions.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Maybe I should add a little more background information:
    We have sports clubs as customers whom we create quiz games for. Their sponsors demand data about how the games went and right now we really struggle to give them accurate statistics. We can accumulate data from other sources like google analytics to extrapolate the data, but it would make our life so much easier, if we could just take the statistics data forminator delivers. It would also make the tool way more professional.
