Getting Error 405 during backup process

Hello,

I have used Snapshot for a long time without any issues.

At the moment, if you start a manual backup and select everything to backup (including plugins) it will trigger a 405 error once reaching the plugins directory and stop.

I have attached a screenshot.

    Howdy @John

Hope you’ve been keeping well !

Thanks for the access .. helps speed things up for sure. Just a couple of things I’d like to check before touching the live site.

    1) Can you check the permissions of the wp-content folder ? Some security plugin could have changed this and that may cause it to fail.

    2) Can you check your hosting account for file size restrictions ? You may be running out of space. Also try removing plugins from that snapshot and try running it again.

    Cheers

    Jude

    Hi Jude,

Thank you for your support and quick reply.

I did check the permission of the directory and it’s all good.

I also look for the hosting limits and there’s none (hostgator).

Thank you for the support and regards,

    John

    Hey @John, Michael here!

    After going into:

    Snapshot -> Settings

And increasing the memory limit there to 512M (as well as setting the compression type to PclZip), I was able to do a full backup (all files & all tables) successfully (I tested twice with a test snapshot of mine).

Can you try from your end now, please, and let me know if it’s working properly on your end as well?

    Kind Regards,

    Michael
