Global Site Tags

Hi, I have installed the two files into my MU-Plugins directory and I already had Post-indexer installed. I added the widget to my page and it says "There are no tags to display." I have plenty of tags – when I add the wordpress tag widget to the page it shows them all. How come it is not working? When I go and look at my pages it says "Tags » " how come it has the » ? I tried editing the page just so it says Tags and it still doesn’t work it still shows up as "Tags » " but my url is http://feecoblogs.com/tags/. Can you please help.

    1) When did you install the post indexer?

    2) Are the tables in your db?

    3) Is there data in the tables?

    4) What is the privacy setting on your blogs? Are they all set to private?

    That just pulls tags from a single blog. It’s not comparable to the tags plugin.

    2) Are the tables in your db? wp_global_tags is there. are there supposed to be others? If so, maybe I didn’t recognize what they were called.

    3) Is there data in the tables? I don’t know. I tried adding a new post with tags and the tags didn’t show up in the widget.

    Correct, I just wanted to make sure my tags were working.

    How many posts have been published since then? Only posts published after the post indexer is installed are indexed.

    2) Are the tables in your db? wp_global_tags is there. are there supposed to be others? If so, maybe I didn’t recognize what they were called.

    wp_global_tags isn’t a post indexer table. Look for wp_site_posts and wp_term_counts. If you don’t find them follow the directions in install.txt for the post indexer plugin.

    Sounds like the post indexer tables didn’t get added. Are you running Multi-DB?

    ok, was playing with it more today and somehow it is Kind of working. don’t ask me what I did cause I couldn’t tell you for sure :wink: I removed all of the indexer, tags and recent posts plugins and installed them individually again.

    BUT it only shows the tags on the side column, when you click on a tag I am still having issues because it does not show the list of articles. Can you please take a look at my tags page http://feecoblogs.com.
