Global table lines in db-config.php

Hi,

A few plugins ask to add a few lines to db-config.php BEFORE beign installed when used with Multi-DB.

Example: Support system

You need to add the global table lines to db-config.php BEFORE installing the Support System plugin or running the sql.txt

Does it mean that it would be a good idea to install the Multi-DB as the first (or one of the first) plugin(s), even if I’m not expecting more than 1000+ blogs before 2 or 3 months?

    Hiya Laurent,

    If you anticipate having a need for it, it’s always best to make multi-DB one of your first additions to a new installation. You CAN add it in later and then move the tables from their location to the global table. It’s just not as we easy :wink:

    There’s no real harm in having it installed from the beginning if this is an expected need in the future.
