Got general question about JetPack. It's pretty awesome

Hi guys,

Got general question about JetPack. It’s pretty awesome plugin and it has so much awesome features. One of those features are likes. I want them badly on my multisite but however i try to set them up they wont work the way i want.

Problem is, these features require wordpress.com login details. Meaning, every time when someone want to like my post he need to be logged in with wordpress.com account.

Question: Is there a way to avoid this, or in the best case scenario, instead of worspress.com account details to use my own (of my multisite).

Thanks!

    Hey Eldin!

Yeah, the only drawback to JetPack is that it’s pretty much set up to do great stuff for WordPress.com, including getting more folks to sign up for an account. The likes in Jetpack, as far as I can tell, are only for WordPress.com.

There are some other plugins that will let users like your stuff with their own accounts, rather than their WP.com accounts. I use this one on my production site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/likebtn-like-button/, I like it b/c it has a few different icons for liking, including a heart that fit my theme really well. It’s a little bit of a resource hog, but not too bad.

Hope this helps, and have fun with JetPack!
