I can see that hosting as it is right now only limited to websites that uses the prebuilt templates or WordPress, right?
We think it would be quite useful and add even more value if you were allowed to install your own web app scripts for various business functions too.
Not all of us customers are web designers and have dream of building a new blue host private label hosting, but run other types of businesses and we are more in need of being able to use the powerful hosting for our own company use AND/OR that you have configured for our own business in terms of various business functions and work apps.
So it would be really cool if you guys would allow that too!
For example at the moment we’re in the process of setting up a internal web cron server which will be used by our own servers to run cron with.
As I was looking for alternatives to Amazon AWS etc. I suddenly came to think of “Oh god I forgot we have WPMU Dev hosting too!”.
So I just went to look for what can be done with your setup. I think it makes sense since we are a long time customer of yours to also utilize other functions of WPMU Dev’s offerings. But as it is now, we cannot use it for for much due to it’s limitations which is a shame.
I hope you guys can use these feedback.
