    Hi Prabakaran

    I hope you’re well today!

You have opened this ticket as a Feature Request but I’m not sure what exactly are you asking for.

I understand that it’s about redirects via nginx but would you, please, describe the exact feature that you are suggesting – is it about some option to let you add redirects to nginx by yourself? Or about changing some aspects of how our hosting works?

    Please elaborate.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi,
I tried to use a custom method with functions.php, separate table (rank math redirection) and wp_options (slim seo redirection) to redirect URLs with 301 or other types.
All of them work via the template_redirect method. Redirecting at server level would help to increase performance.
in this context it would be good if there was an option to add redirects in the “sites dashboard”, similar to KINSTA https://kinsta.com/docs/redirect-rules/

    HI Prabakaran

So you are basically suggesting this:

adding option in hosting Hub to let you manually add redirects right to the server, so they would be applied via nginx

I’m sorry, I wasn’t sure initially but it’s clear now.

I can say that we already have such feature on the list of possible future features. I don’t have an ETA but we had some similar requests in the past so we are already looking into possibly implementing it in future.

    Best regards,
    Adam
