How to verify Multi-DB setup correctly?

Okay, I think I have it installed correctly and everything “looks” error free but what would be the best way to confirm that it is working?

    Welcome to WPMU Dev!

    The best way to see if it is actually working is the creation of a sub site i.e. something.yourdomain.com

    and see if a new blog appears in one of the databases tables.

    It would be for example several tables within one of the databases of your Multi DB as shown in the screen shot below.

    So if in fact your databases prefix is wp_ then the next number is the site/blog id number wp_3 in my screen shot.

    That is how you know for sure when you find the sub site tables in one of the databases.
