[Hub] Can't delete Snapshot backups

My site got suspended on the hosting because I exceeded the disk space allowed when performing Snapshot Managed Backups. I want to delete the backups also from the Hub now.

When I try to delete Snapshot backups for my site from the Hub, it doesn’t work. I can’t delete any backup and I cant delete them with the “Delete all backups” button.

Also, I have a setting to store only 2 Managed Backups, but there are many more stored in the Hub.

    Hi Juanichi,

We have forwarded your issue to our devs so they can check what's going as it works fine for all of our test accounts and seems specific to yours for some strange reason.

Also, I have a setting to store only 2 Managed Backups, but there are many more stored in the Hub.

About this, you actually have only two Managed Backups from the site in question, there are two more that are not uploaded and are still stored on your server, and three backups from Automate as Automate always keeps last 3 backups, you can see this by file names and their icons.

I still cannot deactivate snapshot plugin. with that and because my account is suspended by my hosting because of high IO utilization, i asked them to delete all wpmudev plugins.

Hence, please remove / deactivate in the hub all plugins of re*******t.com

    Hi Juanichi,

Sorry to hear you’re still having issues with Snapshot :slight_frown:

We don’t have access to your site backend or your site files in order to deactivate them properly.

If you can’t access your site you can go to your site files via FTP or cPanel, navigate to wp-content/plugins/ folder and deactivate the plugins from there by renaming the folder.

So for example, if you wish to disable Snapshot you can just rename its folder from snapshot to something like snapshot_deactivated and that will do it.

I would like to ask if you can give us some more info about what is the issue with deactivating the plugins in the first place, are you seeing any errors on your site that could tell us what’s going on?

    Best regards,

    Predrag
