Hi, I know there are a lot of improvements in the works for the automate tool – for regular automated plugin & theme updates, as well as bulk global tools to be able to schedule and edit all sites at once.
This is still a huge need, however i’d also like to add in the ability for bulk database optimization. As a user coming from ManageWP – this feature was really handy within that platform. You could adjust what was being optimized, and bulk optimize every site at once on a regular basis, and then those results were automatically included in reports.
Currently, its not practical to manually run a database optimize on every site if you’re managing 100+ sites. Id’ request this feature be added to the tool so regular, bulk automated DB optimizing can become part of the workflow.
Also – the controls for this are a bit confusing, that you have to go into notifications in order to currently enable database optimization to run. I don’t want to get 100s of emails when all my sites are optimized, but I want the process to happen and be reported on.
