[Hummingbird Pro] Bunny Page Prerender integration

3

Hey there,

Bunny recently announced a great new feature that may be great to implement in Hummingbird Pro. It’s the Page Prerender service. It could take Hummingbird’s performance and SEO capabilities even further.

What this would do:

Serve fully rendered HTML snapshots of pages to search engine crawlers, social media scrapers, and other bots.

Ensure that JavaScript-heavy content (SPAs, Elementor widgets, dynamic front-end elements) is fully visible and indexable by search engines.

Maintain all the benefits of Hummingbird and Bunny CDN for human visitors, without changing site code or PHP templates.

Why it would be valuable:

Boost SEO and discoverability: Pages that rely heavily on JS sometimes appear “invisible” to bots. Prerendering guarantees that crawlers see the full content.

Improve social media previews: Fully rendered snapshots ensure accurate and complete metadata for link previews.

Easy implementation: Since Hummingbird already integrates with Bunny CDN, this could potentially be exposed as a simple toggle in Hummingbird, making it extremely user-friendly.

No extra server load: Bunny handles the heavy lifting at the edge — Hummingbird just manages the configuration.

In short, this feature could provide us with a near-zero-effort way to make modern, JS-heavy WordPress sites fully bot-friendly while maintaining fast performance for visitors.

It could be an amazing addition to Hummingbird!
