[Hummingbird Pro] Clear the server cache

0

I use Hummingbird. However, I host on SiteGround and use Divi as my frontend builder. It would be very convenient if HB had two switches to clear the caches. Saves me a step. It’s time-consuming, especially since I have 2FA enabled.

    Hello Asit

Thanks for your suggestion, but can you tell me more about where you would like to have those switches to clear the cache? Based on what you said, you are looking to save time and clicks by having a convenient way to clear the cache of your site, and you want to avoid login with your 2FA each time. So, I assume you are looking to have an option to clear the cache in the Hub? Or perhaps somewhere else?

Also, take note that Hummingbird can only clear the cache that Hummingbird creates. It can also clear the Static Server Cache, from sites hosted with us, and the Cloudflare cache, as Hummingbird has integrations from both. But Hummingbird won’t be able to clear 3rd party caching like from a different hosting provider.

    Kind regards,
    Jair.

Hello Jaramillo, hope your days have been well.

I have a question in regards to your response to Asit – does this mean that Humming Bird only works with WMPUDEV hosting, or is this just referring to the caching in regards to performance?

        Hey Thomas ,

The response was regarding the “Clear Cache” option in Hummingbird. The plugin can work with websites hosted with any provider, but can only clear Hummingbird page caching along with Cloudflare cache (if integrated) on third-party hosting. If you have any hosting cache enabled on a third-party hosting, it cannot be cleared from the Hummingbird Dashboard.

I hope this helps bring more clarity, and please let us know if you need any further clarification.

        Best Regards,
        Nebu John
