Hustle integration with Aweber not working properly.

I have integrated Hustle with Aweber. The popup for email opt-in is not passing information to Aweber.

    Hi BenHays ,

    We have escalated this issue further to a ticket so that we could check this further. I gave a test on my local server and wasn’t able to replicate any issue with Aweber, the emails were getting listed in Aweber without any issue.

    I tested your Hustle popup and could notice the Email was added in the form but didn’t receive any confirmation email, but could notice the following email:

    [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    Could I know where the above email is configured? Is that designed via Aweber side? I could notice only once a subscription is confirmed by the subscriber the email gets added to Aweber list.

    I’m bringing this into our developer’s attention to check the workflow and will get back to you once I get further feedback asap.

    It seems like in Aweber the subscriber requires to manually confirm their subscription via the confirmation email sent by Aweber. But when I test via the Hustle form that you have configured on your side, I don’t get any confirmation email from Aweber.

    That isn’t the case when I test the form on my test server, once the user fills up the Hustle form, Aweber sents a confirmation email. Once the email is verified by the subscriber-only then the email gets added in the list, otherwise, it would appear as pending in Aweber side.

    I suppose you have a disabled confirmation email in Aweber side? Could you please check regarding that in Aweber side?

    Maybe you have replaced the confirmation email template in Aweber with a different template? As asked in my previous reply, could we know where exactly did you configure the above email template as shared in my screenshot? Please do share a full-page screenshot regarding that, so that we could bring this into our developer’s attention.

    Also, could we know what’s the status of the email signed up via the Hustle form in the Aweber side?

    I did bring this into our developer’s attention too, and as stated in the previous reply we suppose you have replaced the confirmation opt-in email template in Aweber.

    By default there is an option to disable Confirmation Opt-in Email as mentioned here:
    https://help.aweber.com/hc/en-us/articles/204028716-Can-I-disable-confirmed-opt-in-

    But when it comes to using Aweber API ie via Hustle plugin the above settings won’t work and Aweber would still expect a confirmation email which the subscriber is meant to verify, since there isn’t any confirmation the email appears pending in Aweber and hence doesn’t get added.

    You’ll have to get in touch with your Aweber and ask to disable the Confirmed Opt-in:

    So it would work fine on your side. I hope it’s clear, please do bring this into your Aweber’s support so that they could help get you sorted asap.
