I’ve got an awesome floating Pinterest button thanks to the Hustle Plugin. Only it doesn’t scrape the image I have it floating on…and it also doesn’t scrape the item description from the page. Bummer.
I’ve been told that adding Alt Text to an image will help Pinterest scrape descriptions…but I am using a Rental Inventory plugin called RW Elephant to generate my item pages. So I don’t have much control on their backend for classes and alt tags. (I checked with their support first).
I did manage to find someone who uses the same inventory plugin who figured it out. (Link below) It appears that the image and description are embedded in the HTML tag. Any idea how they did that?
