I would like to be able to create a white label redirect for affiliate links without using third party plugins, and I think Hustle Pro is a great place to offer that functionality.
In terms of functionality, I see this as a fairly straightforward user experience. From the dashboard, I would set a trigger keyword (“go” for example). For each referral link, I would enter my referral URL and a keyword. Then, I could link to https://mydomain.com/go/keyword for the user to be redirected to my referral URL.
I used to achieve this on my old VPS server by creating a redirect script in /public_html/go/index.php and maintaining a hard-coded list of keyword-to-URL mappings. This solution does not work on my new wpmudev hosting due to the nature of the managed hosting that restricts some accesses. An important part of my move to wpmudev also includes trying to restrict my use of superfluous plugins, so I’d rather see small functionality like this be integrated into an existing marketing plugin versus me having to use a random third-party solution.
