[Hustle Pro] Blocking Hustle Pro JS -> Cookies

Hi,
I saw that my Hustle Pro Pop-up created two different Cookies (see the attached image).
As far as I know are the cookies not technically required because the Pop-up appears for marketing reasons. Therefore I would have to block the Java Script for the Pop-up via my Cookie Plugin “Borlabs Cookie” and only when the visitor accepts the Cookies, I can enable the Pop-up.

Because I do not find the Java Script that triggers the Pop-up, I ask the technical support for help.

Best,
Christopher

    Hello Christofer

I’d like to examine the popup settings first please. Could you grant temporary support access via the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin? No need to share any WP admin credentials, just navigate in WP admin area under WPMU DEV -> Support -> Support Access page and click on the “grant support access” button.
Please do reply back here when access is granted because we don’t get any notifications about it.
You can find detailed information about it here:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#chapter-5

    Thank you,
    Dimitris

    Hi there Christopher David

    Hope you’re well!

I checked the pop up settings and checked that there’s a ‘borlabs-cookie’ set up when you accept the cookies on your site. Using that I came up with the following Visibility conditions:

    1. Condition Group
Show pop up when borlabs-cookie is set to anything.
[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    2. Condition Group
Hide pop up when borlabs-cookie doesn’t exist.
[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

The only downside is that for this to work and Hustle pop up to start showing, you have to refresh the page. I also tried to set up a Click pop up trigger in the Behaviour settings to show the pop up when one of the cookie accept buttons are clicked. However, that didn’t work. I’m guessing because a js event is set to close those buttons upon click as well. So 2 events cannot be set at the same time.

Let us know if the Visibility based on Borlabs cookie workaround works for you or you’d like us to look further into this.

Note: I’ve removed the Visibility rules now and put it back to the way it was.

    Kind regards,
    Olivija

    Hi Olivija Guzelyte
thank you for the suggestions. I found out that the value of the borlabs-cookie changes with the option, a visitor chooses. Therefore I try to show only visitors the Hustle Pro popup where I find a borlabs-cookie that contains “marketing” for example.
I changed the visibility settings of the popup and will test this setting for the next days.

But I think it should work.

    Best,
    Christopher
