Import Posts (Embed Videos)

I am not sure how everyone else is using these videos, but I like to write a little introduction to the video in a post and then post the video. The written content is the teaser and the video is for clients.

Was just thinking it was tedious to get all of these set-up in to posts and thought it would be great to just be able to import all of these posts in with the header, general intro, and video iframe. Then it could be tweaked from there by the user.

I will probably do this anyway (set up blank site with just tutorials, etc.), but thought it would be a good feature request. Would save TONS of time for us using the videos.

Then you could use a word changer plugin to translate the language used (example ‘wordpress’ to ‘yoursite’:wink:

    Well, I personally have three sites that I maintain for clients that want these videos. For the sites, I will need to create a new post for each video and include a short intro text for the video, so the staff know what the video explains before they watch it.

    I am thinking I will just do one site, export those posts, and import them into the other sites.

    Thought it would be a neat idea to have the export file available to others who want to simply import all of the videos as posts into their sites.
