install-questions

Hei!

I try to install but it doesn´t work and i have some question:

– no edit inside the wp-config.php – thats right?

– can all db have different db-users and password. it looks like not.

– how can i test and see, it works?

    Thanks for help. If i start the move_blogs.php get i this:

    Database Error: Access denied for user ‘dbusername’@’%’ to database ‘thebpde_c’

    The user dbusername is the username from the db some i used for the installation. And now it try to use this username for one of the new database. So i think its a problem with different dbuserse.

    Yes, MU works. But if i create a new blog, it use the table som i used for installation – not one of the 16 (+vip) new databases.

    Host and Host_lan – what is the different? I have a vserver an all is on one server. Can use localhost for this?

    Sorry – i was outside my dataroom some days. But back now and yest, i solve the problem. But is was a bug (?) inside the plugin: the file move_blogs.php, line 101 has _global but it must be global. Now it works.

    But i have som problem with some plugin. Some plugins means, no database create. Must i change something inside the wp-config.php – f. example. the WP_USE_MULTIPLE_DB?
