Issue between Smush Pro and FB instant article

I’ve installed Smush Pro and applied for Instant articles and they give me the error regarding image url:

Source URL for the image is missing or incomplete: We could not read the URL for this image. Please check to make sure that the URL is correct and loads properly.

    I hope you’re well today!

    I checked the site and it seems that the way the plugin creates a feed for Instant Articles makes it “look like” a regular page to the plugin which results in CDN and Lazy Load options being fully applied to the images. The CDN itself shouldn’t be an issue here as it’s simply a different URL (just like you were using some externally hosted image for the post) but Lazy Load seems to be conflicting here.

    I see that you got Smush disabled on site currently so I left it that way but on my own tests Lazy Load changes the IMG tag “src” attribute in a way that might be making it “unreadable” for FB instant articles.

    You mentioned during the chat that you’ll be testing it again tomorrow so could you test it with Smush enabled along with its CDN but with Lazy Load option disabled in Smush, please?
