Jetpack email styling from wordpres.com; want to style it, but don't see how.

I’m using Jetpack’s email subscribe service so users can get the blog posts as they are updated. However, the emails are UGLY! They are unstyled and show the WP logo. I see this is being sent from WordPress.com, however we have a self-hosted site.

Should I be looking at a different way to alert subscribers to new posts if I want a styled html email?
