My snapshots failed to store in Google Drive.

I had successfully created snapshots with Snapshot Pro. It is created and stored in my server directory. However, it did not push to Google Drive as setup in my “Destinations”. It is showing “Destination: 3 fail” (as I had done 3 snapshots). I only setup 1 destination (Google Drive). I also have iTheme Security plugin installed. Pls help.

    Hey @mel711,

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

I’ve accessed your site using the support access you granted and I checked snapshot’s settings. I’ve noticed that you’ve put an entire Google Drive URL into the “Destination” “Directory ID” fields and in snapshot’s destination’s settings page.

Instead of full URL there should only be an ID which is a string of characters after the “folders/” part of URL. I’ve fixed these settings and run two snapshots manually and according to logs these were completed and successfully saved to Google Drive.

Please take a look at your destination settings now and also check your Google Drive if the latest snapshots are there.

Let me know if it helped!

    Cheers,

    Adam

    Hi Adam,

Thanks so much for the fast response. Yes, the snapshots are in my Google Drive now. My fault for missing the instruction on just taking the ID.

By the way, if I could suggest to add a Personal Note field (feature) for us to key in a note for each snapshot archive item? If this is a good feature to add.

This is handy to identify a backup before we implement a particular feature and after, etc…. so we can restore back the correct file if something goes wrong. I notice currently when I rename the file in my server (to identify it for a purpose), it lost the relationship with the archive item in Snapshot Item Archive screen. Still can workaround this, but with this feature, it would save some manual work

Thanks and have a good weekend.
