New Feature: Content Monitor

A new plugin called ‘Content Monitor’ is now available. Basically it will send you an email if a post or page containing a ‘bad word’ is published.

Thanks,

Andrew

By the way, I hope you didn’t mind me dropping a hint about that plugin. I have a client here who uses it and it’s been a big help as she currently doesn’t have a whole lot of time to manage her setup. (She’s going through a very messy divorce.) Now she can use it officially.

edit: One thing she noticed on it is that you can also use this plugin for topics that interest you, not just evil words. Drop in your main site url to monitor what folks are saying about you and the like.

We need to start a bad words thread.

Nah, it’s fine. We needed to release a new premium plugin anyway.

I have to admit that I was curious how you knew about it

    Thanks,

I’ve noticed with both content_monitor.php and site-wide-tags.php installed on WPMU 2.6.2, I get six emails each time a ‘Bad Word’ post is picked up; one for each of the following:

    /blogs/testblog/2008/10/23/test/

    /blogs/testblog/2008/10/23/18-revision/

    /blogs/testblog/?p=18

    /blogs/tags/2008/10/23/test/

    /blogs/tags/2008/10/23/389-revision/

    /blogs/tags/?p=389

Is there anyway to skip the /tags/ and -revision alert?

    Thanks

    Joss
