[Other] Broken Link Checker Not Accessible in WP Backend

2

Hi – I’ve gotten compliants from clients that broken link checker is not usable in the WP dashboard. I checked on this and confirmed that the UI experience is a bit confusing.

You can see the general report numbers, but you cannot actually take action to fix any broken links within that site dashboard. The button takes you to the hub, which looks like can perform those intended functions, however not all users on my clients sites have access to my client hub- so this prevnts certain editors from being able to perform link-fixing functions that they would normally have no problem addressing when using a plugin like redirection.

Please advise if that can be fixed or addressed – this is currently within the new cloud setup as well.

    Hi John

I hope you are doing well.

I am afraid we don’t have plans for that, the Cloud operations are done via HUB and then they can access it via a team member for that site, the local then allows you to use the plugin interface.

I forwarded this matter to our product team as a feature request, would you like to make it public so other members can vote?

    Best Regards

Yes, please – thank you @patrick.freitas. This workflow would be fine, but we still cannot add multiple client users to the Hub to access one site (such as to separate billing mgmt from production team access) so this creates the issue at hand. Thanks
