Performance Report Ratings dropped

I have been trying to receive help with a problem I am having on my website, so I am not sure if something has been done that has effected my overall website performance. I received my weekly report and my performance is now 25/100 when I had been at around 93. Can someone please help me with my open tickets and the cause of this performance drop?

Thank you

    Hello Kara

    Hope you are doing well!

I've checked your site and looks like the cache is deactivated, this increases the TTFB wait time (Time To First Byte ), please go to Hummingbird > Caching > Page Caching and enable caching, make sure home page is included.

To increase the score for Eliminate render-blocking resources, please enable Advanced Mode in Asset Optimization

Please move the position of the JS files to the footer, as shown in the screenshot below

Additionally please Defer JS files as shown in the screenshot:

Please note, changing in files can break the site appearance, so please do the following changes one file at a time. After saving changes visit the home page view times to see if there are any changes. Please note, Caching is better to be deactivated during this process.

To increase the score further, please consider enabling CDN option in Smush plugin and enabling Enable automatic resizing of my images and Enable WebP conversion options. This will improve the score for "Properly size images" and for "Efficiently encode images".

If these changes already have been made and there is the performance is still low, please grant access to your site from WPMU DEV > Support. Please let us know when you do!

    Kind regards,

    Nastia
