Please help with domain mapping

Hi there, I've just set up a new hosting with you for this site; which is a multiisite. Can you please tell me where to find the old WPMU dev Domain mapping plugin as it's no longer on your site, can't find it in WordPress depository either!

    HI there, I managed to get the plugin from Github – but wanted to ask you if you could please help me with the set up of the domain mapping as I haven’t got access to ftp, are you able to do the sunrise bit for me please?! As follows:

    Please move the sunrise.php from your plugin folder /var/web/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/domain-mapping-master/sunrise.php into /var/web/site/public_html/wp-content/sunrise.php.

    In your /var/web/site/public_html/wp-config.php file please uncomment or add (if not available) the following code: define( ‘SUNRISE’, ‘on’ );

    If you’ve not already added define(‘SUNRISE’, ‘on’:wink:; then please do so. If you added the constant be sure to uncomment this line: //define(‘SUNRISE’, ‘on’:wink:; in the wp-config.php file.

    Thanking you in advance! x

    Hi Ellen and Jack!

    Hope you both are doing great :slight_smile:

    As Jack said, you can easily create a new SFTP user from the SFTH/SSH tab on the Hosting panel: [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members] Just to let you know, I've already moved the sunrise.php file to the /wp-content folder and placed the define line on the wp-config.php file using a temporary SFTP user I've created for this (viowpmudev). Please feel free to delete that SFTP user (or edit it).

    After applying the changes, though, the error seems to persist. I double-checked that the file was actually moved (not copied) to the /wp-content folder and that the define line was properly placed above the "/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */" line. I also tried to deactivate/reactivate the plugin and to flush the object cache on the server, but the issue is still there; so we should discard this to be caused by a plugin conflict.

    To run the conflict test and discard this to be caused by another plugin, could you please deactivate ALL the plugins EXCEPT Domain Mapping and the WPMU DEV Dashboard and check if the issue is still there?

    We look forward to hear from you. Many thanks in advance!

    Have a nice day ahead!

    Kind regards,

    Violeta

    Not sure where my reply went! Thanks so much Jack & Violeta!

    Violeta; thanks so much for helping me out with the sunrise bits and pieces; all seems to be working as it should be, so looks like the issue is gone! Thanks again! xx
