Plugin Docs?

I just signed up today and downloaded the Upgrades plugin. No docs? Are the docs basically just reading through the forum messages or are they somewhere else on the site?

    I guess the one that I was stuck on is the Upgrade Plugin. I read through some of the forum messages and I just don’t understand:

    1. How to assign plugin’s?

    2. Do I have to somehow edit the php file for both the upgrade plug-in and the actual plug-ins I want included the Upgrade package? If so, my download was missing any sort of readme file (other than installation instructions) on how to do this.
