Registration error

Hello,

when im trying to register using an existing email then instead of receiving the error message about “this email is in use… etc’ ‘

im receiving the following error on the top of the screen:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/bizid/domains/bizid.co.il/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-signup.php(92) : runtime-created function on line 1

and above the Email Field:

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ” was given in /home/bizid/domains/bizid.co.il/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 339

it happens even when i use the default theme , or any other theme , when i use English or hebrew ,

nothings helps…

also i have another problem when trying to install a plugin i always get “connection timed out” any idea? im using wordpress and wordpress MU in many sites without ever receiving these errors before…

    Just so I’m clear… what you’re saying is that the problem only occurs with the Hebrew language? Is that correct? If so then that points to a problem with the language file.

    also i have another problem when trying to install a plugin i always get “connection timed out” any idea?

    It’s best to manually upload plugins.

    Problem Solve there’s been a recurring translation error in the hebrew translation file in the Email string (note for anyone using the hebrew version of WPMU 2.9.1+ Buddypress)

    but now the problem is solved.

    regarding my second question i am aware of up fact its better to manually upload the plugins , and that the solution i’m using (since i have no other choice) but still , i wonder what can be the cause for this matter ? when i try to update/install plugins using the admin area then:

    1. when trying to connect throuhg FTP i get “username and password error”

    2. when trying to connect through FTPS i get connection timed out (using the same User/Pass)

    3. when i connect through FTP client everything works fine (using same User/Pass)

    4. my hosting company tried to solve this matter both on the server and using my WPMU admin account. with no success.

    whats can be the cause for this error ?
