signup-code only works with MU???

Hi,

I specifically have an installation of WordPress / Buddypress and downloaded my first plugin (Signup Code) and when I installed the plugin on the site it

1) stops the site working altogether (showing a page that tells me that the signup code plugin requires Mutisite)

2) I had to manually remove the plugin via FTP to get the site working again.

Could you please tell me if there is something I can do to make this plugin work on my site, NON Multisite/Buddpress

    Hi David and welcome to WPMU DEV!

    I’m afraid that currently, that plugin only works with Multisite installations of WordPress/BuddyPress. As such, I’ll go ahead and move this over to the Feature Suggestion forum and ask one of the developers to take a look at the possibility for a future release.

    That said, it definitely is possible to enable the Multisite feature of WordPress and simply not utilize that feature except to use the plugin. Would that work for you?

    Thanks for the reply, I will look into changing the site over to Multisite, My concern is that I have another instance of WordPress (only) on the same server that is Multisite and I hope this one with Buddy Press doesn’t conflict to keep the clients and users separate (They are on different databases, so I am thinking that it should be OK)
