smart crawl language

Hi there,

I’m using the SmartCrawl plugin and its gives me a 44/100 points (“Your content is difficult to read”:wink: in my index page, wich is already optimized.

As my text is written in Spanish… is there any possibility thats de reason why SmartCrawl thinks my text is bad written?

    Unfortunately, at this time, SmartCrawl does not support Readability Analysis for any language other than English. The reason for this is the lack of such readability analysis for most languages. There simply isn’t the algorithms for languages other than English available to us at this time. Whereas there are established formulas for how to handle English readability analysis. For example, we’re using Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Readability formula and the Flesch Reading Ease Readability formula. Which are well established formulas for processing language.

    However, all other aspects of SmartCrawl should work fine with languages other than English.

    I hope this clarifies a bit.
