SmartCrawl conflict with Go Pricing plugin

When SC and Go Pricing plugin both are active, the button from Go Pricing looks weird.

Without SC: https://cdn.livechat-static.com/api/file/v2/lc/att-old/8801096/11e54d5cd6a64caf1c3918f80235a8ef/LC211118-but01.png

With SC: https://cdn.livechat-static.com/api/file/v2/lc/att-old/8801096/7326670d68d00d6e5596d283057e0047/Schermafbeelding%202018-11-21%20om%2014.23.05.png

Please help me to solve this as I need both plugins.

    Hello René

    I hope you're well today!

I checked your site and I see that SmartCrawl is currently active on site. Yet, I do see the buttons unaffected on my end. I checked in Chrome and Firefox, both as logged in user and a logged out visitor:

Did you manage to solve that meanwhile or do you still need assistance with it? Let me know please.

    Kind regards,

    Adam

    Hi René

Thank you for getting back to me with this.

I checked the site again and I think I might have been served some cached version previously so I just didn’t see the issue. I did see it now and I found out that this is because of SmartCrawl’s “Auto Linking”.

You got that feature set to automatically link pages and forms to pages and forms but it wasn’t “fine tuned” in any way. These buttons from Go Pricing plugin are actually not links in HTML terms (they are not “a” HTML tags) so SmartCrawl doesn’t know that it cannot auto-link them – and that resulted breaking the page source.

A simple workaround here turned out to be to just set a minimum length of auto-linked terms in SmartCrawl configuration on “SmartCrawl -> Advanced Tools -> Automatic Linking” page in “Settings” section. For now, I set that to 10 characters and that seems to suffice but in case you noticed similar issue on a bit longer phrases (like: longer button labels) you might want to change it to 20 or even 30 characters.

    Best regards,

    Adam
