SmartCrawl paragraph keywords

SmartCrawl keeps throwing this recommendation although all first paragraph of the page is included in keywords field: “First paragraph has no keywords”.

Updated keywords and recheck the page, but still having the same issue.

That happens almost on the whole network(all sub-sites).

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

    I checked the site and what SmartCrawl reports is actually a true information: the first paragraph does not have keywords.

    The focus keyword that you set is “Architectural Design”. But the first paragraph is right above the H1 title and says “Let’s build together.” – so that doesn’t match the “architectural design” phrase.

    The “paragraph” is not exactly what a “human visitor” might perceive as a paragraph, it has to be detected somehow by the script and, following HTML semantics, it’s a text inside

    <p> </p>

    HTML tags. The first occurrence of that within the page content (where by content we mean what’s being printed out by WordPress; so basically everything that you’d see inside standard WP editor) is that “Let’s build together.” line as it was added as a regular text and not marked as any “header” (like H1, H2 and so on).

    That being said, the simplest solution to this would be to replace the “Let’s build together” text paragraph with h2 or h3 header and that should make the “actual text” the first paragraph.
