Smartcrawl Third Party import section not showing

I have a multisite that currently has both “All in One SEO” and “Smart Crawl Pro” installed, this is causing duplicate tags and I need to import the AIOSEO data into Smart Crawl. Smartcrawl Third Party import section not showing in Network Admin -Smartcrawl – Settings -Import / Export section

    Hi Matt,

Hope you are doing good today.

SmartCrawl plugin only allows to import Plugin Options, Term & Post Meta. I don’t see any settings that’s configured within the Network dashboard when All in One SEO plugin is enable Network wide. Could you please advise, if I’m missing anything specific regarding that?

The All in one SEO plugin seems to be configured for each subsites individually, I was able to notice it working in your subsite, if you go to the subsite dashboard, and under SmartCrawl > Settings > Import/Export, then you should be able to notice the import option.

The import option in only visible, if the All in One SEO plugin is configured for each subsite, it won’t be visible in subsites where the plugin isn’t configured. However, I’m also double checking this configuration with the developer too.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further query. Have a nice day ahead.

    Hi Nithin,

Post meta is the only thing I really need to import. I was only focusing on the network admin settings as that’s where the support techs I was speaking to in chat said I would find the import option (they created this forum post for me as after lots of troubleshooting had no solution).

However, even following what you have said, in a sub-site where I clearly have meta tags defined in AIOSEO, I get no option to import any data into SmartCrawl. That’s sub-site dashboard > SmartCrawl > Settings > Import / Export. There is no option to import third-party plugin data at all.

What I find most frustrating was that SmartCrawl had previously offered the option to import the AIOSEO data and I dismissed the notice (on the plugins page). Now I can’t find any way to get it back.

    Hi Matt,

Seems like there was a confusion from my part, sorry about it. The subsite which I checked, and shared the screenshot was actually the main site, and seems like I checked the dashboard wrongly, sorry about that.

Seems like the main side ID 1 is now a subsite, and a subsite is now the main site in your MU system.

There is a correction on how the Import works when it comes to AIOSEO plugin, the plugin should show import option in both Network, and Main site.

So, yes, it should have listed the import option in both Network Dashboard, and Main Site. But that isn’t the case at the moment.

However, import done via Network Dashboard, and Main site would be the same, and during import it shows a progress bar for subsites, so it should import subsites when done via the main site Import UI.

Maybe switching the main site IDs would be causing the import UI to not list in the network dashboard, I could notice the anomalies regarding this in your system. I’m checking this with the developer to see what exact is being missed, and will get back to you, once I get further update asap.

However in your current setup, import done via main site should also work, as the process would be the same, and it would also process for subsites too.

Will keep you posted once I get further update from the developer regarding this asap. Have a nice day ahead.
