[Smush] Images not automatically Smushed

I’m running a news feed aggregator site which is importing a lot of posts and attached images. The images aren’t automatically Smushed – is there a workaround?

    Hi Simpson,

    I’m afraid that there’s not an easy solution for this as it will depend on the way your images are being processed and how they are going around the default WP upload process.

    It would require custom coding and hooking on existing Smush functionality, checking smush_image function in wp-smushit/lib/class-wp-smush.php should help with developing this further.
