Smush not converting PGN to JPEG

I’m running Smush and have the PNG to JPEG enabled, but when I upload an image it doesn’t convert the PNG to JPEG.

    Hi loai ,

    PNG to JPEG Conversion is done to further reduce the size of an image. As stated in the plugin:
    [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    There are two cases where the PNG to JPEG conversion would get ignored:
    1) If the PNG has a transparent background
    2) If the PNG file doesn’t result in smaller JPG file size when compared to PNG, it won’t be converted in such case too

    What we noticed on your website was due to the second point mentioned above. The size of the PNG files are too small, and hence it’ll not make any difference when converted to JPEG file. Smush would skip such images.
