    Hello dale

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

I’ve visited your site but if there are images missing, I’m afraid I don’t know which ones are those because – at least on homepage – images seems to be loaded. I’m saying that because without knowing/checking such images it’s hard to say exactly why they are not loading.

In most cases there are two reasons for images missing:

    1) a “PNG to JPEG Conversion” option was enabled in “Bulk Smush” settings, a bulk smush was run and some of the image URLs were not replaced on the site.

This can happen because such conversion not only changes image format but also changes file extension and while Smush attempts to update all the references to such files, it’s not always possible (mostly due to how specific site is built).

If that’s what happened then there are two ways to deal with it:

    – if “”Store a copy of my full size images” option was enabled, you can restore each missing image separately with a click of the button from “Media LIbrary” page (it would be visible on the image list if Media Library is in “list view” or if it’s in “grid view” – after entering “Edit” screen for image)

    – or by manually updating URLs of those missing images by editing all the references to them across the site and manually changing “.png” extension to “.jpg”.

    2) If above is not the case, it’s sometimes an issue of a conflict when either CDN option or Lazy Load option (or both at once) are enabled in Smush Pro configuration. In such case, disabling them (and, if there’s any cache on site, clearing it up too) would help and after that we could also investigate that to find out what’s causing the conflict and how to fix it so you could use both features.

That said, if none of that is the case or none of that helped and you still need assistance, please point me to the exact locations on the site where I could see those images actually missing and also please enable support access to the site so I could take a closer look at configuration.

To enable support access: go to the “WPMU DEV -> Support -> Support Access” page in site’s back-end and click on “Grant support access” button there, then let me know here once it’s done.

    Best regards,
    Adam
