[Smush Pro] Smush CDN not working

I activate the smush CDN and all images are broken. The image url returns:

Error 503 Backend fetch failed
Backend fetch failed
Guru Meditation:
XID: 827569758
Varnish cache server

Any ideas why this isn’t working?

    Hi Jeffrey ,

    This usually happens when the connection with our servers is not getting the proper site status, can you try following these steps and see if works after that:
    – Go to Smush > CDN and disable CDN completely
    – Go to Smush > Settings and at the bottom of the page click on “Update API Status” button
    – Go back to Smush > CDN and enable CDN again

    Let us know how it goes and if the issue is gone after that.

    Sorry to know that you are still facing the issue. Do you have any caching in your site? If so have you cleared the caching after you updated the API status in Smush. If not can you clear the cache and see if the issue goes.
