[Smush Pro] Smush my webp

The creatives have started uploading .webp images into our WP, but they’re using lossless and mental quality settings, and these files can’t be smushed.

Please please please add support for smushing next gen image formats.

    I hope you are keeping well, and thank you for reaching out to us.

    The WebP images are already in an optimized file format, and I’m afraid that, for the moment, Smush will skip them.

    That said, we understand the importance of supporting different image formats fully. Our team is actively working on improving the plugin’s workflows so that, in future updates, Smush can handle WebP images more effectively across all relevant settings.

    I am also adding your vote for this improvement task so that it gets some priority.
