[Smush Pro] Users can't update plugins

Other admin users on this website are unable to update any WPMU plugins installed on the site – including Smush Pro. Whether they attempt to update via the "Plugins" view or the "Updates" view under the main Dashboard, updating the plugin appears greyed out for other administrator users of this website. I updated the API status under Smush Pro -> Settings, but still the other admin users cannot update this plugin. Please advise.

    Hope you’re doing well and appreciate the feedback on this.

    I was able to replicate this in a testing site of mine and I’ve already created a bug report for our developers. We will keep you posted here as soon as there’s any development on this.

    Meanwhile, I was able to notice that you could surpass that now by enabling WPMUDEV Dashboard for other admins. Not the best solution, but if it works for you, you can add them in WPMUDEV -> Settings -> Permissions.

    I’ve just come across this exact same thing on one site where another admin has the updates all greyed out so it seems that this bug is still around, somewhere. Adding them to the WPMUDev permissions did allow them to run the updates. Not an ideal scenario but certainly a workaround that seems to work.

      Actually, just came across this with a second site. Confirmed WPMUDev dashboard plugin is the latest version on both sites so definitely something that is still around. Again resolved by adding the other admin in the WPMUDev permissions.
