Snapshot – failed to open stream: Permission denied

Dear Support,

got this error:

Warning: fopen(/wp-content/uploads/snapshots/_locks/1402730307.lock): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /www/htdocs/w01199d4/wp-content/plugins/snapshot/lib/snapshot_locker_class.php on line 26

    Hope you’re doing well today!

    Are you trying to just create a snapshot or restore one? When is that error happening?

    Would you be able to grant support access so we can have a closer look :slight_smile:

    You can grant support access via admin dashboard – WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access.

    Hey Uwe,

    Sorry for not getting back to you sooner on this. I just tried to log into your site; however, it looks like you have additional authorization required to view it. This could actually be the reason for the error too as it’s not getting past that first level of authorization so it’s giving a permission denied error.

    Try turning that authorization off and see if it works properly :slight_smile:
