Some Post Types Included, Some Not

This may be a feature suggestion, but can we force sites to have some custom post types and hide some from them as well?

Would an option be to uncheck “Enable sub-site content types.” and use New Blog Templates to bring them over?

    Hmm okay, so what you’re wanting then is per-post-type network visibility options?

    So something like;

    – show this post type to all sub-site admins

    – show this post type to only these sub-site admins

    – show this post type to supporters only

    – show this post type to these membership levels

    That kinda thing?

    Yes. I run sites for churches, businesses, musicians, etc. Would be great to have the Custom Post Types set up and then be able to check which post types will automatically show up in their dashboard. As I would have the different templates and themes for each each type. I do most of my stuff manually so it would save me a lot of time also.
