I want to receive a mail about every single update that has failed to install with Automate. This is because sometimes a plugin becomes disabled or even corrupt after Automate tried to update it. In such cases I want to be notified about the failed update, so I can check out the problem.
Currently the only real option to receive a mail about this specific use case is by enabling “Email Updates”. The problem with this is that there will mainly be mails about completed updates, which I don’t care about.
In our case, Automate runs on 80+ sites and I would receive loads of useless mails. I only want to receive a mail when an update has failed.
I know this was a feature in the past, as far as I can see it has been removed somewhere in Q2 – Q3 of 2021. The attached screenshot is one from such an email.
