I wanted to suggest a small but really impactful improvement for the Hub’s Domain Reseller settings.
Right now, the currency conversion field requires us to manually enter the USD → local currency rate. This can be tricky to keep accurate over time, especially when exchange rates fluctuate. It also creates extra admin work to keep everything updated.
It would be fantastic if this conversion could be automated using a reliable currency exchange API (like Open Exchange Rates, the European Central Bank’s API, or similar).
Ideally, the system could:
– Fetch and update conversion rates automatically on a daily or hourly basis.
– Still allow a manual override for those who prefer fixed pricing.
– Apply the updated rates seamlessly when calculating markups and displaying prices.
This would make pricing far more accurate and reduce the risk of under- or overcharging due to exchange rate shifts.
I really believe it’d be a smart quality-of-life upgrade for everyone using the Domain Reseller feature.
