[The Hub Client] Changing a clients email address

I need to change a clients email address, but I can’t because of the way the hub is setup. So instead I have to add a new client and change who is linked to the billable site. But doing this will cancel all subscriptions. My client pays yearly and the next payment is not due until Feb 2024 so I have to setup a reminder on my calendar to bill the client (setup on the hub) because the system won’t schedule invoices either. Plus I have to send them all previous invoices manually by downloading myself because they no longer have access to old account because they cant access the email.

I understand the email address is the unique identifier but while ‘client & billing’ is still fairly new, is there a way to change this as I suspect that this will potentially cause issues in the future.
