HI – I’m requesting that the client reporting be agnostic of whether or not the WPMU Dev plugins are used.
Currently, we have to have all of the plugins installed in order to get their data on the reports, which is understandable.
However, this breaks down for sites where we cannot use some of the plugins. For instance, WP rocket performs better than hummingbird on some sites, and has more complex optimization features, so in those cases we need to remove Hummingbird, which then removes the ability for us to report on site optimization and performance. Many other tools such as ManageWP and WP umbrella use reporting measures that measure the data not-specific to a plugin, so it doesn’t matter which plugins are used for optimization, performance, security etc.
Also, some sites I have hosted on other providers such as Cloudways, and many times the backups do not work as well, which lead to errors show on the client backup reports, which this was an issue on the WPMU Dev end with the backup plugin, rather than the actual backups which were separately completed already on the server level.
Can you advise on a solution to this?
Thanks
