[The Hub] Client UI Improvement and shared Labels

0

Hi there

I recorded a short video about some improvements you really should consider to improve the way agencies can categories sites better by improving the clients UI and have shared team labels.

https://capture.dropbox.com/ziNuYp1G1PBj5yhM

I am puzzled why these are still not available after such a long time because with when having a lot of client sites is very bad to have things properly organize at the moment.

I really hope you can consider these things because i don’t they create a crazy amount of work but would improve the experience as an agency user a lot.

Thanks for your consideration and have a greaty day.

    Hi John ,

We do have plans to improve the current workflow regarding the labels and provide more features to share the labels across teams. At the moment, there isn’t any exact ETA but can confirm it’s something which our team will be looking to add down the road.

Regarding the feedback for filters and other comparisons with Manage WP, I do see what you mean and will make sure to bring it to our Hub team’s attention so that they can check and see what further improvements could be implemented regarding this.

    Best Regards,
    Nithin

    Hi John ,

As a fellow agency owner I really appreciate the time you took to record this video and point out these potential improvements.

From my experience, I’m experiencing the same performance problems you mentioned. Sometimes the hub takes a good 20-30 seconds to load, and when the client is logged in through the white labeled hub, this problem is aggravated as there are no spinners or anything that indicates the page is still loading. After half a minute staring at an empty page with no visual clues it’s still loading, clients are likely to either refresh or give up.

As far as the interface improvements go, I think you’re spot on, on most of them. I really like the look of the interface, it’s simple and clear, but it definitely can be improved.

I agree the WPMU plugin icons need at least an option to disable some. Most of my clients will go with RankMath and it’s impossible to convert them into SmartCrawl and honestly, RankMath is far superior. So it would be nice to either connect that SEO icon status to RankMath (or another SEO plugin being used) or at least the option to suppress that icon.
Same goes for all the other icons. Some people will rather use Wordfence or Sucuri or whatever, so either the security icon can connect to other services or disable it.
People often get annoyed looking at those icons indicating there is something “wrong” that needs to be fixed, when there is nothing really wrong.

On the labels thing, I agree there should a “global” set of labels, whilst keeping the ability to add your own.

    Cheers,

    Leni

If this is something you are always facing on your side, then possible to open a new ticket/chat with us, so that it would help give us a better idea regarding the issue and also investigate what further could be improved regarding this?

We already have plans for a similar feature but at the moment there isn’t any exact ETA we could provide.

Your feedback will be shared with our Hub Team to inform their ongoing efforts. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

      Best Regards,

        Hi Nithin Ramdas

Thanks for your reply and I can definitely open a support ticket, but based on what I’ve heard from other people, this seems be an ongoing issue, not just affecting John and myself.

I’ll contact support, but perhaps this issue should be escalated for further investigation? If there is indeed a problem affecting the hub performance as a whole, that would benefit everybody.

        Cheers.

          Hi Leni Neto ,

The more tickets we have the better in investigating and troubleshooting the issue by our Hubs team.

You only need to create a ticket if you encounter the issue the next time and if possible create a screencast with Browser Console open, so that it would give us more information.

If you don’t notice a high load at the moment on your side then it isn’t required to create a ticket, a ticket was mentioned in case it helps give us more information.

          Kind Regards,
          Nithin
