All the sites listed in the Hub-updates might get bricked with just one accidental click 5mm off to the right.
Imagine accidentally fat-fingering and clicking “Update” instead of the drop down and selecting “none” in the sites-column dropbox (been there, done that).
One risky use case is occasional plugin-updates that cause a White Screen Of Death. Imagine having 60 sites in the hub and having to rollback all of those because of one accidental click 5mm to the right of the select-site-dropbox.
Because the sites can reside on different hosts with different php-versions and have different versions of plugins, themes and WordPress I need to have absolute control over which sites, plugins and themes etc. I am performing work on at every single moment.
One frequent critical action I perfom in the Hub is doing a test update of one specific plugin on a specific site.
As it is now I constantly feel afraid of missing that select-dropdown to “uncheck everything” before purposefully checking the one site or item I want to perform an action on.
