Themes not visible after install

Hi there,

When I click on ‘Install’ (one click install) for a theme it looks like it’s being installed. Only when I go to my Themes I don’t see them. It looks like the installations has failed, only I didn’t receive a message.

    Can I ask are you trying to install WPMU DEV themes and are these themes located within your WPMU DEV Dashboard?

    Thanks for your reply. To answer your questions:

    Yes, I’m installing WPMU DEV theme and yes, they are located within my dashboard. I chose the one click install.

    @Vaughan: the problem is that non of the themes show up in Network Dashboard > Themes. They just aren’t there.

    Perhaps it had something to do with my hosting user rights? Because later I also received a (standard WP) notification that is wasn’t possible to create a folder.

    this does sound like you could have a permissions issue on the server.

    you may need to use your CPanel file manager. or via FTP client

    navigate to public_html/wp-content/

    then change permissions on all folders & subfolders to 755.

    sometimes you may need to do 777, but that isn’t advisable.
