Turning ON CDN gives 404 errors

I migrated my site to WPMU hosting and then turned on smush CDN which gives 404 errors.

    Hello there evi

I'm really sorry about that, I couldn't notice this happening, at least in the single product pages.

I also tried that again after temporarily activating Smush CDN and single product images look good:

Could you please let me know about any specific page/URL/image that's getting broken so I can better troubleshoot?

    Thank you,

    Dimitris

Hi, don’t know how, but indeed it seems to be holding up for now (the pictures) – so so great so far, I suspect it had sth to do with the permalinks.

After turning of smush I still noticed lots of 404’s but after updating the permalinks this was fixed…. Maybe that’s also the reason the CDN was acting up?

-added question: this night I got a bunch of mails from defender about locking people out bc of 404 requests –> I tried checking but I don’t think any pages are missing, they seem strange URL’s as well – they do lead to a 404 but I don’t think they are supposed to be pages, but I’m just not sure – how do I know which URL’s on my site may be causing 404, is there a checkup for that?

-last question  I activated a gsuite account and want to use it, they said sth about Branda, is there a manual somewhere on how to? OR since the emailadress hasn’t changed, only the host, is it possible to just leave everything in wordpress as is and it will work?

So just for a heads up, the CDN problem is definitely solved

From what I gather, the problem was that after changing the DNS on my domain, I should’ve disabled CDN , updated permalinks, enable CDN… so far so good  so this is solved
