Unable to access Defender dashboard

I’m attempting to access Defender dashboard but getting an error of having no permission to view a page.

    I hope you’re well today!

    I checked your site and WP install, re-installed Defender manually via FTP and did a partial conflict test but to no luck so far. It seems something’s “hiding” Defender there and one of the things I’d still like to check is configuration of user roles’ capabilities as those might be modified.

    I tried to do this using User Role Editor plugin (as I don’t have direct database access) and that also turned my attention to the PHP version on your site. It’s currently 5.4.x which is outdated enough to cause some unexpected issues. Could you please look into your server’s settings (usually that’s in cPanel) to see if you could upgrade/switch PHP to more modern version? Preferably that’d be 7.x.

    If that doesn’t solve the issue on its own it will at least give some additional performance and security boost to the site and will let me further investigate the case.

    Let me know once PHP is updated (if you don’t have such option in server management panel please ask your host if they could do this for you).
