Being the site admin, I have three different blogs for various reasons. When I turned off the Admin Bar I no longer have any way to switch from blog to blog in the back end. Unless of course I missed something, is there any other way to accomplish this with the admin bar turned off?

    Hey DavidJohnson,

If your admin bar is turned off you can access your various blogs by going

    to

    site admin–>blogs

and then you can click on back end of which ever blog it is that you want to edit. hope this helps!

I was going to suggest using ozh admin drop down menu as an alternative to the admin menu bar however the new version of his plugin which is compatible with wpmu2.7 doesn’t give a drop down of the blogs unlike the menu that went with wpmu2.6.5

I have a question about upgrading, I am new to MU, actually I have had a site up for a few months but memory hasn’t allowed me to do to much until recently, starting to get back into things. Here is my question.

There are currently approximately 3800 blogs, it appears a large majority of those blogs are spammed blogs, all blogs from the same places pretty much that gets bot updated on occasion. With this all said here is my dillema. I am using wp-mu 1.3.3. I want and severely need to update to the latest and greatest, also my database is 2gb in size and has caused a shutdown on my host once already.

What is the best way for me to go from 1.3.3 to the new 2.7? Should I just start over from scratch installing all of the new plugins and starting the business plan as suggested on project supporter? Currently I am not doing an immense amount of traffic, actually only a couple hundred a day. What would you do?

Thanks in advance for the advice
